There has been an increase lately of the properties in and around Oahu with occupancy levels exceeding those of a year ago and reaching almost 90%.  Millions of dollars of revenue have been earned on Waikiki vacation rentals as people have started to again enjoy the pursuits of vacations, especially in island locales such as Hawaii.  Looking at a variety of different factors, it would seem that overall performance of the hotel hospitality industry in Hawaii is up a health fourteen percent over last year at the same time which is good news for people making a living in hospitality.
