Grandfathered Betting States

Description:

A law in 1991 was considered the federal deadline for states to legalize sports betting and only a few states actually made it through that era and were grandfathered in as states where sports betting was allowed whether through brick and mortar structures or through sports betting online. The only states to have been a part of that grandfathering were Montana, Delaware, Nevada and Oregon. There are a few major outfits that are very opposed to the idea of sports betting and those entities include such groups as the National Football League which has never been in favor of sports betting.
